CDTCSV UGM Student Exchange Program Ends Fruitfully

On September 26, the Closing Ceremony of CDTC—SV UGM Student Exchange Program opens where we had the program opening ceremony two weeks ago. How time flies! Today we are going to say goodbye.

Wearing their traditional custom, Indonesia students dance happily with bare feet. Falling in their beautiful dance, the hostess, Ms. Zhang Xiaoqian, Vice Director of Foreign Affairs Office announces the opening of the ceremony. President Mr. Xiaping, Vice President Ms. Huang Xiaoping, Director of Foreign Language School Ms. Wang Zhaohui and some teachers, together with our exchange partners participate the meeting.

It is the time for UGM students and teacher to present their gains after two-week learning. They show us woven fabric Article, calligraphy and Chinese painting. The burning of his tongue makes Rizky excited and he swears he will come back at least once in the future. The smartest Eva says although there are communicating difficulties sometimes because of language, the care and hospitality from CDTC moves her a lot. Zia agrees with Eva and confess that in fact different culture doesn’t make us alienated but much closer. Rahmat lists what he have learned in CDTC, such as Chinese culture, Chinese characters, and becomes more and more interested in China. CDTC and SV- UGM build up friendship. He hopes the students exchange program can continue to benefit more people. Oktacaesarika is the last to make speech and she complains their classmates have her words used up and generalize into words “thank you”. Delima finds no word to say but about the cool climate and her worm feeling.

Then Mr. Xiaping expresses appreciation for the new atmosphere brought by Indonisia students. Ms. Huang Xiaoping also wish everthing goes well with our guests and at the same time gives our exchange partners some requirements. In the end, CDTC leaders and some teachers issue ceritficate to SV –UGM teacher and students.

Based on the former experience last year, we make some adjustments and big progress in the program this year and achieve bigger success. The two colleges now get to know each other better and both hope to expand the student exchange program in order to benefit more. We believe our teacher and student who are going to Indonesia will bring back good news for us.
