Four New Foreign Teachers Join us in New Semester

On September 2, besides our 2014 freshmen, we also welcome four foreign teachers which from Britain, New Zealand, Canada to our college. They will stay in our college for the coming semester to teach, to study and to experience here. They are pretty young, dynamic and enthusiastic.

Under the guidance of Ms. Zhang Xiaoqian, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, the foreign teachers visit the history museum. They are shocked by the struggles during our constructions, appreciated our humanized teaching ideas and greatly interested in the folk fabric machine which they only saw before on TV. Tom, one of the four foreign teachers, is shocked by the superb skills when he sees the double-sided Shu embroidery. Ms. Zhang introduces to our new foreign teacher that we have already built relationship with foreign friends from America, German, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos and so on, and your coming is a beginning for us to make friends with those from England, New Zealand and Canada.

Then, our new foreign teachers go around the campus and get to know the registration process and activities for the freshmen. Katie shows her experiences in the campuses in her country. They are very excited to see so many volunteers and especially decorated campus for welcoming the new students. And then, they meet the teachers in School of Foreign Language. eI believe in our English teaching and learning, foreign teachers can be able to quickly integrate into the students, for students to understand British and America culture, arouse the enthusiasm and confidence in learning English, and provide a good platform to expand the international field of vision.
