On June 19, 2014, Juniata College and Chengdu Textile College held a chorus concert in the multi-function hall.

Before the performance in J our college, Juniata College choir have already performed in other schools and gained high praise from audiences.At the beginning of the concert, Mr. Shelly and his students brought for the audience five lively rhythm sense of music: "came the voice of heaven of Hawthorne’s”, " the sacred crystal ", “create” and so on, which are classical European and American music and fused with elements of modern pop music. Then, our teachers and students chorus brought the “Grape nocturnes”, “Honghu water wave ”, “edelweiss” to our American friends. Finally, the joint chorus concert came to an end in the echo of choir of "jasmine" that is performed by our students and American students.

The joint chorus concert witnesses the harmony of eastern culture with that of western. Music can transit differences and reach unit in people’s heart no matter what color our skin is. At the same, this concert is a precious chance for our students to communicate with people with different cultural background, and open a door for others to get to know us.
